ALSSA PRIVATE LIMITED operates the ALSSA Customer App, a customer super app for food ordering and delivery, grocery ordering and delivery, e-commerce, hotel booking, local services, subscription-based services, payments, notifications, customer support, and future financial products offered only through authorised regulated partners. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use ALSSA.
Information We Collect
- Personal information such as name, mobile number, email address, profile details, and customer support details.
- Mobile number and OTP-related information used for login, account verification, fraud prevention, and account security.
- Address and location information, including saved delivery addresses, manually entered addresses, and permission-based device location.
- Order, booking, subscription, service request, wishlist, review, chat, and customer support information.
- Payment transaction references, payment status, order value, refund status, and related payment metadata. We do not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net-banking passwords, or banking passwords.
- Device and technical information such as device identifiers, app version, operating system, IP address, notification tokens, crash logs, diagnostics, and usage events.
Firebase and App Services
The app may use Firebase and Google services including Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, analytics, diagnostics, and hosting-related services. These services help us provide login, data storage, notifications, app reliability, and security.
How We Use Information
- To create, verify, and manage your account.
- To process food, grocery, e-commerce, hotel, local service, and subscription orders or bookings.
- To provide address, location, delivery, notification, wishlist, payment, refund, and customer support features.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, security incidents, and policy violations.
- To improve app performance, reliability, customer experience, service availability, and support quality.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws, legal process, accounting, taxation, audit, regulatory, and dispute-resolution requirements.
Location Information
With your permission, ALSSA may access your device location to detect or save delivery addresses, show nearby sellers or services, enable delivery workflows, support hotel or local service features, and improve service accuracy. You can disable location permission from your device settings, but some features may not work properly.
Notifications
We may send transactional and service notifications relating to OTPs, orders, bookings, delivery, refunds, account activity, offers, subscriptions, and support. You may manage notification permissions through your device settings, except for essential account or transactional messages where permitted by law.
Third-Party Service Providers
We may share necessary information with sellers, hotels, delivery partners, payment providers, cloud service providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, regulated financial partners, and other service providers who help us operate ALSSA. They may process information only for permitted service, legal, security, or operational purposes.
Future Financial Products
ALSSA may display or facilitate access to financial products in the future only through authorised regulated partners. Any such products will be subject to partner terms, regulatory requirements, and user consent where applicable.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. Data may be stored on Firebase, Google cloud infrastructure, and trusted service provider systems. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, and alteration.
Data Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, maintain business records, and meet tax or accounting requirements. Some records may remain after account deletion where required by law or legitimate business purposes.
Account Deletion Requests
You may request account deletion by contacting us through the support details below. We may verify your identity before processing the request. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, payment, refund, fraud-prevention, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Children's Privacy
ALSSA is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we learn that a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information where required.
User Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, update, or deletion of your personal information. You may also withdraw certain permissions such as location or notifications through your device settings.
Indian Laws and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
